My wife and I have 3 children and we moved to New Zealand to be closer to her family. I am an experienced runner having competed at The University of Tulsa (in Oklahoma, USA) in Cross Country and Track. After School I briefly pursued competitive marathon racing having won 4 marathons including my hometown's Cleveland Marathon. My career best time is 2:25:19.
I love New Zealand and am proud to be now calling it home.

My Name is Joel Stansloski, I served as the General Manager to Podium Podiatry and Footwear since 2018 and in February 2026 purchased the business from Matt and Erin Fraser.
Prior to purchasing Podium, I had worked in running footwear for over 18 years in the US/NZ. I have held every position from part time shoe sales through to store owner/operator. Running and delivering service to people has been mainstays in my life since I was very young. Fortunately, I have been able to combine those things into a career.
