Matt and Erin Fraser - Company founders and owners.
Thank you for choosing us to help you with your podiatry services and footwear solutions.
We are a family business founded by husband and wife team, Matthew and Erin Fraser. We started like a lot of family business; with passion and limited resources. Since opening our first clinic in 2013, we have grown our family to five with Lila and twin girls Olivia and Chloe. This years staff Christmas party highlighted just how much of a family company we are with the amount of kids present matching the number of staff. We have been operating now for 10 years and with the support of the community have been able to grow to operating in three locations in the Bay of Plenty with thirteen employees.
Joel Stansloski - General Manager
My Name is Joel Stansloski, I serve as the General Manager to Podium Podiatry and Footwear. I have been in this role since October of 2018. Prior to that I had worked in running footwear for over 10 years in the US. I have held every position from part time shoe sales through to store owner/operator. Running and delivering service to people have been mainstays in my life since I was very young. Fortunately, I have been able to combine those things into a career.
I became a customer of specialty running stores when I stared running cross country at age 10 and never left. But I did always believe it could be improved and made more accessible to all types of people, athlete or not. It seems service and professionalism can sometimes be lacking in the footwear business and good old one-on-one customer service is a lost art, one that I strive to deliver to each guest.
My wife and I have 3 children and we moved to New Zealand to be closer to her family. I am an experienced runner having competed at The University of Tulsa (in Oklahoma, USA) in Cross Country and Track. After School I briefly pursued competitive marathon racing having won 4 marathons including my hometown's Cleveland Marathon. My career best time is 2:25:49.
I love the New Zealand and am proud to be now calling it home.
